Luke Walton and Kurt Rambis Visit the Pediatric Therapy Network’s Camp Escapades
Lakers Forward Luke Walton and Assistant Coach Kurt Rambis stopped by Seaside Elementary School in Torrance to visit campers from the Pediatric Therapy Network program, Camp Escapades. A three week summer day camp for children with disabilities like Autism, Down Syndrome, and Cerebral Palsy, Camp Escapades emphasizes the “camp” experience for children ages 5-13. Kids take part in various activities each day, including arts and crafts, sports, water play, and music lessons.

Kurt has been attending every year since my son Tommy has been going to camp. Thanks Kurt for spending time with our kids.
My son Tommy has been going to Camp Escapades for the past six years. It was in danger of not being held this year because of the California budget crisis.
